Ahead of its Tuesday launch, leaked pictures of the HTC's latest flagship smartphone have emerged. The smartphone will replace last year's HTC M9 and is rumoured that the device will be called HTC 10 (dropping the "M").

According to a Dutch website who claims to have accurate information and photos of the HTC 10, the device will be available worldwide mid May.
These are some of the expected features of the flagship smartphone and if it turns out to be true will rival the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphones

Display
The HTC 10 has a 5.2 inch large screen. HTC uses the '5 S-LCD display technology and not the AMOLED display technology that was hoped for. HTC is HTC's first flagship smartphone whose screen has a QHD / 2K display resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels). 
Below the display are touch-sensitive keys returned. This is because the HTC 10 also features a fingerprint sensor. This is placed under the screen in the middle, and also functions as a 'home-test'. With the fingerprint sensor toesel can be unlocked in 0.2 seconds.

Processor

HTC 10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, featuring a 64-bit octa-core processor consisting of 2.2 GHz and a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. The processor is assisted by four gigabytes of RAM. The HTC 10 will come in 32 gigabyte and 64 gigabyte storage capacity.

Camera

12-Megapixel Ultra Pixel camera
HTC has been teasing an innovative camera, which they believe will be the best smartphone camera. It comes with a 12-Megapixel Ultra Pixel camera. The camera of the HTC 10 has an aperture of f / 1.8 and captures  large images because of sensor allows more light resulting in better quality pictures.
Furthermore, the primary camera of the HTC 10 is equipped with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus. The camera is able to deliver the same picture quality DSLR cameras (digital SLR) and can store pictures in uncompressed RAW format.
The 12-megapixel camera of the HTC 10 to 4K (Ultra HD) video recordings are made. In addition, the HTC 10 the world's first smartphone capable of 24-bit capture high-res stereo sound for videos.

At the front of the HTC 10 is a 5-megapixel front camera is placed. This is also a Ultra Pixel camera with an aperture of f / 1.8. Uniquely, the front camera has optical image stabilization.
